Inon Lenses: Part 3

Finally I’ve completed the Inon Lens setup I’ve been looking at.  I’ve not got the Inon UWL-105AD Wide Converstion Lens. Acting as a wide converstion lens underwater and a fish-eye converter on land it give 105.6 degrees underwater and up to 179.0 on land.

Here are some shots of the lense itself.

Here are some test shots with and without the lens.  The camera settings for the test pictures below were identical.

F-Stop: f/4
Expousre Time: 1/320 sec
ISO-64
Focal Length: 8mm

Inon Lenses: Part 2

I’ve just bought the second part to the Inon Lens setup i’ve been looking at.  The Inon UCL-165AD Macro Lens.

Below are 2 test shots.  The first on a 10p coin without the lens, the second the same 10p coin with the lens.  Both photos were taken in the same position with the following settings:

F-Stop: f/5.4
Expousre Time: 1/125 sec
ISO-100
Focal Length: 24mm

And some shots of the lens itself.

Vobster Quay

To kick off UK diving for this year I went to Vobster Quay near Frome, Somerset in March and April.  This is by far the coldest water I have experienced at 8 or 9 degrees and my first outing in a drysuit and some of the darkest conditions I have dived in.  We were aiming for 36m to help complete the deep diver specility but it got too dark at about 28-29m.

Some pics are below.

I’ve posted some links to various dive related websites.  Check them out!

Plymouth – James Egan Layne & HMS Scylla

Back in October 2006 I dive the James Egan Layne, HMS Scylla and 2 other wrecks (which I forget the name of) with Dive Solutions and Aquanauts.  Here are some pics.

Inon Lenses: Part 1

I’ve just bought the first part of a new Inon Lens setup for my MPK-NA.  The Mount Base.  Now i’ve got to decided between the macro lens, wide angle lens or both!  Here is a picture of the NA Mount Adapter by Inon.

The pictures below were taken with and without the Inon UWL-105AD Wide Angle Lens attached.  The first without the lens, second with.

Gozo

Here are some of the photos I took last year (Sept 2006) in Gozo with Dive Solutions and Gozo Aqua Sports.  All were taken on a Sony DSC-N1 with MPK-NA underwater housing.  Some editing has been done in Photoshop to correct some of the colour.

New site!

The new site has arrived.  I’ve finally decided on a theme I like, just got to finish off the header and a few others bits.  I’ve got quite a few photos to post which I wil also do in due course.  Watch thing space!
