When I first read about Uwdigitalcamera.com, I was a bit secptable about buying from the otherside of the world, potentially worried about how much shipping would be, customs duty and other pitfalls assiocated with buying from aborad.

Certainly with Uwdigitalcamera.com these are all myths!

There product pricing is excellent, the UFL-165AD is 37,000 JPY which is about £175 and shipping on that lens was 3,800 JPY which is about £18 so all in all £200 – thats half the price of what the lens costs in this country!!

They accept PayPal which is another bonus for international customers and shipping is either via FedEx or EMS (Japan Post) – the 3,800 JPY I paid was by FedEx.

The speed of the delivery is exceptional and when you consider how far Japan is away, you would expect it to be longer.  I ordered my lens on 25th June, it was delivered on 30th June – 5 days!!

10/10 for Uwdigitalcamera.com  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I’m now looking to see what I can buy next!

My Inon UFL-165AD Fisheye Lens has been ordered from Uwdigitalcamera.com costing 37,000 JPY which is about £173 + shipping and some custom duty.  I’ll give a short review on the service from uwdigitalcamera.com once it’s arrived.

To complete the my underwater camera kit, I’ve been looking at getting a Inon UFL-165AD Fisheye Lens.  The lens has a max viewing angel of 165 degrees.  Hopefully i’ll have some test shots if I get a chance to try it out.
